The Teatro del Soho CaixaBank premiered Gypsy, the classic American musical, in Spain for the first time in October 2024. Antonio Banderas, director of the play and its adaptation, reflects on the driving forces of art, the importance of the work, his closest collaborators, and the philosophy that led him to return to his homeland from Hollywood to realize a dream: a theater, and even the transformation of a city.
